Hvis man gerne vil være journalist, er det en god idé at begynde at være opmærksom på folk med bestemte motiver i medierne. På den måde kan man blive god til at gennemskue hvorfor folk siger eller handler som de gør, når en historie kører i medierne. Tidligere holdkammerater kommenterer og AGF forsikrer, at klubben har højt til loftet. Et par dage senere blev Graulund fyret i AGF, ifølge medierne. Men hov?! Skal man ikke være ansat for at kunne blive fyret? Den nu også forhenværende AGF-træner fortæller selv, at han ikke var ansat af klubben. Han bakker sågar op om den såkaldte fyring. Altså er det ikke noget, der er kommet som en overraskelse for ham.
Sådan lykkes det at veksle et hobbyjob til bunkevis af medieomtale og utvivlsomt meget værdifuld eksponering af en bog, der ellers var i fare for at drukne i mængden. Godt gået, Peter Graulund. Det var en mediesmart fyring!
